May is an exciting month for me this year. I am counting down\nthe weeks and days until my long summer break. I have also decided that I will\nonly be shopping in town this month, which means no Harris Teeter or Costco. I\nwill be picking up items as we totally run out or that are need for a specific\nmeal, like buns. I plan to cook from the freezers and hopefully start to\nget some good garden items by the end of the month. We don\u2019t have any more\nlunchables so the kids are back to packing lunches on Sunday with lots of\nsandwiches. This week of course is busy with baseball and piano. Swim\nteam practice should start next week as well. Quick easy and summer time favorites\nare on the menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Breakfast- Saturday\u2013 bagels – Sunday-biscuits and gravy for the\ngirls, boys had a men\u2019s breakfast. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,\nFriday\u2013 Choice of breakfast burrito, oatmeal, grits, cereal, or toast. \nWednesday- baked oatmeal- peanut butter\/chocolate chip <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lunch\u2013Saturday-steak fajita using\nleft-overs Sunday-Seafood restaurant for Mother\u2019s Day a week\nearly. Monday\u2013 salad and veggie day. Tuesday\u2013 hummus and dip\nfor me, Kendall and Zach had egg salad sandwiches, Wednesday-Thursday and\nFriday- soup, wraps and sandwiches for kids. I have a salad for one day and\nleft-overs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dinner \u2013 Saturday-left-overs\n Sunday\u2013Left-overs Monday-Mini chicken tacos Tuesday\u2013 spaghetti and\ngarlic bread Wednesday\u2013Steak and ranch potatoes Thursday\u2013 Chicken\nsandwhich and FF. Friday- pizza roll ups. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
