{"id":1607,"date":"2013-11-02T17:19:54","date_gmt":"2013-11-02T21:19:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coffeefreakdesigns.com\/teenstotsandeverythinginbetween\/?p=1607"},"modified":"2013-11-02T18:31:38","modified_gmt":"2013-11-02T22:31:38","slug":"october-in-review-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teenstotsandeverythinginbetween.com\/?p=1607","title":{"rendered":"October in Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Financial goals:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong> <\/strong>I will start by saying that I almost did not post this update because of how poorly we did in this area.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pay off Lawn mower by March 2014, so no interest is charged. <\/strong>Payment of $100 made, almost a triple payment. I have also made a plan to pay this completely off in January!<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Pay off all outstanding debt except the mortgage by <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>June<\/strong><\/em>&#8211;\u00a0We missed this goal obviously but my new goal is June 2014!<\/li>\n<li><em><strong> Emergency fund to $2000<\/strong>&#8211;<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Need to start forming a plan to met this goal. I have currently zapped this fund.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Maintain a budget using a form of the envelope system<\/strong> <\/em>-I know how much I spent last month but it is way over budget<\/li>\n<li><strong>Groceries: Spend $600 or less a month\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0I have ended up spending double this amount this month.\u00a0 The only bright spot is that I have an monthly average of $650 for the year so I am going to try and reduce this to $600 for the year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gas- <\/strong>Goal Met!! We currently have $49 left in our gas budget which is going to help cover the groceries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Blogging:\u00a0 <em>Goal: 15 per month <\/em><\/strong>I had 14 post in the month of October. The last week was super busy and I just did\u00a0 not get caught up. I guess that is why it is a goal!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Devotions: Goal is 5 a week<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 Goal Met! I am really enjoying my morning time.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Weight: Goal to exercise 3x a week and to be down to 150 by December by losing around 4 # a month.<\/em><\/strong>. Continuing to look at and think about this goal.. Enough said.<\/p>\n<p>I have met one goal this month&#8230; Room for lots of improvement!\u00a0 Since I failed on both my blogging and budget in October, I am going to set a goal to post at least one post a week about how we are saving money in November.
