{"id":2307,"date":"2014-07-31T16:03:44","date_gmt":"2014-07-31T20:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coffeefreakdesigns.com\/teenstotsandeverythinginbetween\/?p=2307"},"modified":"2014-07-31T16:03:44","modified_gmt":"2014-07-31T20:03:44","slug":"july-in-review-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teenstotsandeverythinginbetween.com\/?p=2307","title":{"rendered":"July in Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Blogging:\u00a0 <em>Goal: 15 per month<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Post number 15!\u00a0 <strong>Goal met<\/strong>!\u00a0 I will be the first to admit that this has been a real struggle for me this month but I am glad to say I can accomplish it!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Weight: Goal to exercise 3x a week and to be down to 150 by December<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<strong>2014.\u00a0 <\/strong> The more I look at this goal the more I am wondering if it is realistic. However I am going to leave it in place for now. Officially I have lost 39#\u00a0 since January. I am getting help with a medication but I am also still try to keep with the goal. I need to focus on the exercise part of this goal for sure.\u00a0 I am claiming <strong>goal met<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0 Pay off credit card debit by June 2015.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>I did\u00a0change this goal to reflect the purchase of the new dryer last month.\u00a0I\u00a0did pay off all the debt except for the dryer this month. \u00a0<em><strong>Goal met<\/strong> <\/em>for this month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Emergency Fund to $2000.\u00a0<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>We are sliding backwards again on this goal. My emergency fund is down to $100.\u00a0 I know this needs to be important. I just can&#8217;t seem to get it in place!<\/p>\n<p><em>. <\/em> <strong>3.<\/strong><strong> <strong>Groceries: Spend $600 <\/strong>a month\u00a0<\/strong> Total spent $690, this is over $100 less than last month but it has also raised my monthly average to $617. The good news is that we have purchased all the stuff for our vacation. My plan is to at least the first half of our grocery money in August for spending money on the trip. I know that in the next two months I will also be placing a large chicken order so I am not sure if I will be able to met even the average of $600 for the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong> 4. Gas: Spend $400 a month with any remaining to be move to Auto fund for repairs.\u00a0 <\/strong>Total Spent $381. <strong>Goal MET.\u00a0 <\/strong> I am excited to see that we have finally been able to reduce our total gas usage for this month. This amount does include an oil change for the van. \u00a0My monthly average is sitting at $417, this will also have to be a goal\u00a0looked at closely at the end of the year to determine do I need to increase?\u00a0 I am also increasing this by $100 in August to cover our travel expenses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Overall I did meet 4 of 6 goals. I am feeling much better about this month than in June.
