Saving on Saturday 3/4/2017

The idea is to use what you have but always keep in mind what you want.  I was able to “save” this metal cabinet from an outside building at my parent’s house.  To say it was nasty is an understatement. I forgot to take a picture up front but I am about half way finished cleaning it up in these pictures.

The original plan was to add a tall “broom” closet to the bathroom in our master suite but I just have not gotten around to doing it. You can see the cabinet looks empty.

After a couple of hours of sanding, cleaning and applying clear coat it was ready to use. I decided to place contact paper on the shelves to make them safe and easy. Total spent on the project was $2!
